The Crimson
King Maple, is a cultivar of the Norway Maple and it is noted for
its rich maroon leaves throughout the summer. A moderate to fast
grower in full to partial sun. Best in a well drained area and is
very tolerant of drought. Pollution tolerant it thrives on almost
any soil, including clay.
The smooth
bark, straight trunk, and strong branching, height of 40' width 35.
This tree is easily transplanted and is adapted to a wide variety of
soils including alkaline, sand, clay and acid soils.
Dark beetroot
red leaves turning red, brown and orange in autumn. Small clusters
of red tinged, yellow spring flowers producing paired samaras. |
